- Currently, Mr. Mosquera is admitted to practice in both Colombia and New York State, which allows him to actively participate in numerous international transactions for clients, where the dual expertise of both jurisdictions offers a comparative advantage in safeguarding their interests and understanding in complex transactional structures.
- During his time in New York, Mr. Mosquera worked for six years at White & Case LLP, a law firm specializing in Latin American markets, where he was the lead in providing legal advice on corporate finance matters (bilateral loans, syndicated loans, debt offerings) and mergers and acquisitions.
- Since 2004, Mr. Mosquera has been a partner of the firm Mosquera Abogados, as co-head of the Banking & Finance area, specializing in transactional advice to national and multinational companies, focusing mainly on national and international corporate finance, and head of the firm’s M&A practice.
- Mr. Mosquera has had experience and exposure to diverse cross-border transactions, thanks to his long-standing practice in the New York jurisdiction, where transactions involving the Latin American and European markets were his main lines
